Safe Harbour
A community united against
violence towards women
The Back Story
Safe Harbour is an expression of solidarity for women—created to bring the maritime community together in a visible stand against violence, harassment and intimidation. This cause is deeply personal to us. Having witnessed the realities women continue to face, both within our industry and beyond it, we believe silence is no longer enough.
On 21 November 2026, at 1pm vessels will unite in Sydney Harbour in a powerful demonstration of support. Safe Harbour is non-partisan and open to everyone—women, men, owners, crew, businesses and industry leaders—who believe that every woman deserves to feel safe, respected and supported. Together, we can show that our harbour, our industry and our community stand firmly with women.
